Oracle has an application available in the App Store that can be used by the consumers of the iPhone – the Oracle Business Indicators. Recently, the company announced that their application already had 23,000 downloads so far.

Salesforce and Oracle are considered as the best companies who delivered excellent real enterprise applications for Apple Inc.’s iPhone which can be downloaded at the App Store.

Oracle had also provided the breakdown for the app downloads made. In United States alone, there were already as much as 18, 698 iPhone users who have downloaded Oracle’s application. There were only 399 iPhone users in Australia who have downloaded the Oracle Business Indicators. In Europe, there were 1, 433 iPhone users who got the application from Oracle. Meanwhile, Great Britain has 1,082. The remaining 1,443 downloads were made in other countries across the globe where the iPhone is now available.

Although thousands of downloads were made, this does not necessarily mean that all who downloaded the application are using it. Oracle’s rival, Salesforce, also has an enterprise application that can be downloaded for free. Oracle is currently seating at the 17th spot when it comes to the most popular business applications for the iPhone. On the other hand, Salesforce is sitting at the 12th spot.
