There are hundreds of iPhone fanatics who are so much into the device’s Visual Voicemail. However, not all of them would like to sign up for the service offered by the AT&T. Fortunately, the Verizon Wireless will be having this feature on some of the handsets this year’s summer.
Last December, AT&T and Apple Inc. were sued by the Klausner Technologies regarding the patents related to the Visual Voicemail. Recently, the case has already been settled. The feature will soon be seen on Apple’s new rival from Samsung – the Instinct.
According to the reliable sources, Verizon will soon join the party. There will be five devices
However, Verizon will be charging consumers $1.99 every month even if the competitors will not. This is quite a bummer for those who will be using the Visual Voicemail. There is no specific date as to when the Verizon will launch the Visual Voicemail. But it looks like the company is targeting the dates from late July until the early weeks of August.
