An announcement was made recently by AcroDesign Technologies regarding their new application that would work in Apple devices including iPod Touch and iPhone. Their downloadable NIV iPhone bible called the AcroBible is now available at the App Store.

The feature rich AcroBible costs $28.99 and is a download rather than an online, annual-fee based Bible. After downloading it on their iPhone or iPod Touch, the users may now access the AcroBible wherever they are.

This offline Bible from AcroDesign allows the users to search for phrases or words in the Bible, create bookmarks, and attach notes to the verses. Moreover, it also allows the users to highlight verses just like what they usually do in a real Bible. There are at least six colors to choose from when users want to highlight verses in the AcroBible.

The latter feature and the note attaching feature of the AcroBible were backed up by the ibiblespace.org. And because of the touch-screen feature of the two devices, users can easily navigate the AcroBible no matter where they are.
