Congratulations to Andrew Clark AKA Clarkbar6 from Haddonfield, NJ. His video entry in the “I Want to Win an iPhone from iPhoneMatters.com” Contest titled, “The Last Straw” was chosen from dozens of entries as the winner of a make new 8GB iPhone.

Andrew’s entry impressed the judges with his overall concept, his craftsmanship, and his brilliant homage to the Office Space printer scene. View his entry below:

Here’s what Andrew had to say:

I’m from Haddonfield, a small town in South Jersey about 10 minutes by the bridge from Philadelphia (Go Phillies!). I’m a student at Northeastern University, and though I’m home now for the summer, the video was shot at school in Boston. That is actually not me in the video, that Oscar performance goes to my roommate Nick (I hope he doesn’t want me to share, I’ll

have to do something for him.) The view for the movie was somewhat autobiographical. Since seeing all the cool things that the iPhone could do, I would get more and more frustrated everyday with my current device. The Moto V180 phone that was destroyed in the video was my actual phone until we smashed it. It didn’t vibrate anymore, and “the last straw” was when the screen decided to stop displaying anything. I have been surviving on a $20 GOphone ever since, so that will be a very big step up. I really want to say thanks to all of the citizens who viewed and commented on my video, and particularly the writers at iPhone Matters!

Congratulations Andrew and thanks to all that participated in our first contest.
