Another iPhone Rumor: New Device to Come in 3 Looks
As the launch of the new iPhone comes near, more and more rumors are arising from “analysts”, “industry sources” providing “new details” about the new 3G iPhone.

A new rumor, from the UK-based Times Online, that the upcoming Apple device would have a “radically different appearance” compared to the current phone has now surfaced. Unlike the last iPhone that users can identify without a doubt, two possibilities of a new exterior appearance is a slider with the hardware QWERT keyboard and a clamshell.
Analysts of Times Online expect multiple versions of the device – one designed for users who would use the iPhone as a music and video device (pretty similar to the existing model), another one for users who need the device for communication with the keyboard and another model designed for users that need a device as a substitute for a laptop enabling them to browse the internet with a larger screen.
At this point, regardless of rumors on the new iPhone version, the only thing certain is that the iPhone rumors are not stopping until Apple confirms all rumors and the device is officially released.

An iPhone with a physical keyboard? Never going to happen.
I’m kinda with Craig on that one too. Simply because Apple pushed so hard for their virtual keyboard being such an advancement, why would they go in another direction now. If they go clam shell it would only result in looking like the LG Envy, simply because you would expect the top of the shell to have easy phone access capability.
