App Store review policies changing
Changes (necessary ones really) are in the wind: Apple is now requiring that users who wish to review an App Store application actually have downloaded and own the application first (why this wasn’t implemented to begin with is a mystery in itself).

Clicking on the “Write a Review” link on an application’s App Store page now generates a warning dialog box if the user does not own the application.
Many have previously complained that the App Store reviews have been riddled with poor reviews and comments from users who have never used the applications passing their time in odd ways, so limiting reviews to users who own the applications should provide more reliable and informative reviews, and help measure the true worth of an app before an iPhone user grabs it.
