In order to make use of the iTunes App Store, you must have the iPhone 2.0 software. When the App Store was




launched, as much as 552 applications were already included. Some of the applications can be downloaded for free but other software requires a small fee ranging from $0.99 to $69.99.

FeedRoom, a video company based in New York City has already raised $12 million to fund their continued software development for Apple Inc.’s second-generation iPhone. Their main goal is to allow the mobile phone users to communicate using their web-based videos. But it is not only FeedRoom who has the same goal for Apple’s hottest device. FeedRoom is also competing with ThePlatform from Comcast, Move Networks, and Maven Networks from Yahoo.
