The second-generation iPhone was already sold out in AT&T stores just a few days after its debut. Most of the AT&T stores are now emptied out of their 3G iPhone inventory because of the hyped customers who queued last July 11 until July 13.

Apple Inc. said recently that they still have stocks of the 8 GB model as well as the 16 GB model in Apple shops. There are at least 187 Apple Store all over 38 states. The lowest 3G iPhone can be availed for only $199.

According to the website of Apple Inc. the retail stores of the company likely has a stock of the 3G iPhone that they want to purchase. As for the other stores, it

usually takes at least a week before it reaches other stores.

Unfortunately, as of the moment, there are also no stocks of the 3G iPhone in Iowa, Indiana, New Mexico, Nebraska, and Rhode Island.

Most of the shoppers prefer to purchase the sleeker version of 3G iPhone, which is in black color. Both 8 GB model and the 16 GB model is available in black. But if you want a white iPhone, you have no choice but to purchase the 16 GB model.
