Announcing the Apple iPhone updates at the MacWorld 2008 keynote in San Francisco, Apple CEO Steve Jobs reiterated that some other features like the Google Maps location triangulation and the ability to send a text message to multiple recipients would be possible in the updated iPhone version.
Speaking of the new Google Maps feature, Apple insists that it is all about location. While Google Maps achieved new heights of functionality with a location service, it however, does not become a GPS device, although it does allow you to locate your approximate position on the Goggle Maps feature. On the other hand, when you tap the new icon in the lower left corner of the touch-screen, a circle will demonstrate where you should be on the map.

Again, the new updates for iPhones have integrated features like being able to add your personal touch to the iPhone’s home screen. You can move icons around and rearrange accordingly to your will. Moreover, to add to your excitement, if you press and hold any icon, all the icons on the display will start to wriggle.
The updated version of Apple iPhone also allows users to bookmark Web sites in the Safari browser. It also allows you to add those bookmarks to the home screen in the form of icons. The icons can also appear to be minuscule version of the Web page on the home screen. Other than this, iPhone will also support Apple iTunes movie rentals. The feature allows you go through the movies by chapter, choose alternate language tracks, and view subtitles while watching films.
