Apple online stores out of stock of the iPhone

Quite why anyone would want to buy an iPhone now with the imminent release of a new model I don’t know but you can no longer get one at Apple stores online in both the UK and US.

iPhone no longer available.

Apple has confirmed that the iPhone is out of stock online, but added that brick-and-mortar stores run by Apple and iPhone carriers including AT&T might still have units available.
