Apple releases 3 new “There’s an App for that” commercials, to mixed reviews
Turned on my TV a few days ago and what did I see? 3 new iPhone commercials in the space of a few hours, each showing off various iPhone apps.

And yes, in tiny print, they finally admitted to the “truncated time sequence” thing, where they sped up the speed and access ability for certain apps. Admittedly it’s only a 30 second or so commercial, so we understand, but it gave a false sense of how fast the iPhone really is.
Still on the “There’s an App for That” theme, these new commercials are titled Itchy, Office, and Student. Here’s the list and the iTunes App Store links:
* Itchy features Compass Go ($1.99), iBird Explorer Plus ($19.99), and Howcast (FREE)
* Office features Credit Card Terminal ($49.99), Print & Share ($6.99), and FedEx (FREE)
* Student features Apartments (FREE), SnapTel (FREE), and Photogene ($2.99)
Interesting mix of premium and FREE price points there Apple! (And thanks for keeping things on the low end for the students). These ads can mean nothing but good things for iPhone sales, so we hope they keep it up.
