Have you bought a second-generation iPhone in Japan and currently using the device? The Buddha might have given you a great luck. The over all price for the data plans that you have to pay Softbank has just gotten cheaper. Recently, the carrier of the iPhone in the country announced that they will now lower the prices of the data plans for Apple Inc.’s iPhone.

iPhone

A month before the second-generation iPhone was launched in the land of the Rising Sun, Softbank said that they will charge as much as 7,280 Yen (or equivalent to $67) every month. But with a change of heart, they have pitied their customers. So now,

the current price for the monthly plan is only 2,990 Yen a month or equivalent to $28. Customers will just have to add a fee for the number of data they transmit. However, Softbank did not said the precise number of data that a customer transmits before the fee is applicable to them

But no matter how much the fee is, the important thing is that the customers will not end up paying lots of money than they would pay for the unlimited plan. Softbank also said that their company is hoping that it would entice new customers who were turned off because of the expensive unlimited data plan for the iPhone.
