When the second-generation iPhone was being promoted by Apple Inc. the company promised that the device along with its latest software will be perfectly suited to the corporate world. However, the severe shortage of the 3G iPhone would force several companies to wait for 14 days or more before they can have their orders. Moreover, it is also forcing individual home customers to leave without the device as well.

Recently, AppleInsider obtained a memo that has been circulating around the Apple Inc.’s carrier in United State, AT&T. This memo is actually warning all the business sales consultants of the company that any orders that are workplace-related that was placed last

July 13 cannot be accommodated for the next 10 to 14 days.

The corporate clients of the AT&T and the company itself are very much aware that the cause of the delay is the sheer demand for Apple Inc.’s 3G iPhone. However, such delay is enough to make the corporate buyers frustrated even those who are used to see unexpected shipping delays.

One corporate buyer told the AppleInsider that he has an enterprise account yet he could not have the 3G iPhone for any amount. He also said that most of them thought that Apple Inc. already figured out the ups and downs of the business, but they were all wrong.
