I know there is a big hubbub about the huge AT&T bills that month. The treasure trove of data typed out in single-spaced ink detailing your every documents transfer, phone shout and text notice. The thousands of trees crying out in pain as AT&T workers take chainsaws to their throats just so they can give you your gosh darn bill.
shout me crazy, but I happen to enjoy my huge phone bill. Yes, that’s right. I said, I enjoy my 29 page phone bill.
The reason is simple: Detail is good. And it is well-organized detail.
I enjoy knowing how many times my iPhone checks newsletter per hour. How I get more text messages amoung the times of 7:00 - 8:00 AM and 6:00 -7:00 PM than any other times. (They happen to be the times i am on the commuter train to and from work). I plus enjoy seeing how the details transfer sizes fluctuate all through the day. But the best part of that detail is it is well-organized. Anyone who has experienced a phone bill from Verizon would know what I’m talking about.
With AT&T, the charges are
AT&T has said they want to give detail where possible and that they have options for you to get a streamlined version of your bill. Granted I didn’t have to “uncrate” my bill. (29 pages still fits in an envelope). But even more detail would be nice. Like, what about a list of every webpage I have surfed. Or how about each text note. That way when my friend defames my character in a text notice, I can take my bill to court and sue the pants off of him.
Other folks can complain about their bill and downsize to a summary bill. For me, I’m sticking with the full-on version.
