Apple announced Ringtone support during their September 5th event yesterday. Ringtones conversion will be available in choose iTunes store tracks for an additional $.99. that functionality isn’t expected until next week so that is good. WiFi iTunes store for iPhone is plus expected within the next few weeks.

Steve has officially announced that you will now be able to prepare your own ringtones for the iPhone. The cost will be $.99 plus the cost of the song, no word whether it will work with non-itunes purchased songs.
