O2 have released the pricing for the new iPhone 3G S due on the 19th June 2009 in the UK.

Prices will start at £189.48 for the 16GB iPhone 3G S on a new 18 month contract at £29.38 a month and £274.23 for the 32GB iPhone.

It appears that online retailer Play.com is now offering the British-buying public unlocked iPhones.

In a move that seems a little strange, Play.com has order pages live for both 8GB and 16GB models.

Mobile Today, which tracks mobile trends and sales figures in the UK, is reporting that the 3G iPhone is selling very well. Specifically, retailers are averaging 27,000 phones sold per week, which is considered very strong numbers for that part of the world.

That’s good news for Apple, especially since the 3G launch went rather poorly [...]
