O2 are claiming to have sold tens of thousands of iPhones in the UK since it’s launch on Friday at 6.02 PM saying “It has been the fastest-selling device we have ever seen.”

The wait is finally over for the UK and the iPhone is now available to buy in the Apple Stores, O2 and Carphonewarehouse stores and online.
The expected queues across the country for the official 6.02 PM launch may not have been as large as those in the US but sales are going strong.
