One of the thousands of companies offering dock connectors for the iPod is the company called Ridax. And now they will also sell charge converter for the second-generation iPhone. However, as of the moment, they are only taking pre-orders for the 3G iPhone Charge Converter. The complete design of this small accessory is yet to be released since the Ridax is not fully done with it.

The 3G iPhone Charge Converter would allow the owners of the 3G iPhone to use the charging accessories from their old iPhone or iPod. The second-generation iPhone may now be charged by converting the

power stream of the old charging accessories. There will be a male as well as female connectors, and a small USB connector located at the side of the 3G iPhone Charge Converter.

The 3G iPhone Charge Converter is expected to hit the shelves of the market by September and would cost as much as $40 each. But there will be a mature release of the 3G iPhone Charge Converter which the company calls as the “bare version.” Interested buyers may now pre-order the bare version for $45 and expect to get their hands on the accessory by the month of August.
