Doesn’t work for me… there’s a script error after the upload.

I was really excited about this ringtone website. It seemed to be pretty straight forward, but after a few tries I still can’t seem to get this to work. I can’t get this website’s player to play the song I imported to have converted. Is anyone else out there having this same problem? I really want this to work but I’m having problems.

Pretty good that they offer that on iphones. Is there a special way that you have to add the ringtones to the phone, or is just like how you add them to a regular phone?

That is a very helpful and convenient deal. Can you record music and put it as the ringtone too?

    I have this error:
Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0

Anybody else, too? What does it mean? I tried with files of 3, 5 and 6 MB.

well i just tried this and the third time it worked… i think the o.okb file size error thing or the Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0 … these ppl might need to convert the certain songs to Mp3s before uploading them here on the website… i use a certain program for that…some music converter thing…they’re all over the place on the net… so just research it but i think that might be the problem otherwise idk.. but i havent tried converting these files to an iphone cuz i dont have one yet… i will let u guys know when i get it working

    worked fine for me.

a ringtone for an iphone cannot be more than 39secs, so whenever you convert a file, make sure the length is no more than that.

I was so excited about this program and they do a great job making it very simple. But after I’ve converted a 29 second MP3 file, I double click it (and try to import it into iTunes) and nothing happens. Any ideas?

Update: Yay! I got it working :) For those that were having the same trouble I was, try this: At the end of the change process it gives you two options: Save the ringtone, or use the Link they provide. Everytime I saved it, I couldn’t get it working. As soon as I used the link, iTunes recognized it right away and it worked. Synced perfectly with my phone and was found under Ringtones in the Customized section. Fantastic product :)

Brilliant piece of kit. It has just made me a ringtone that works on a 3G iphone running 2.2. My mac did not recogonise the downloaded file, but ‘get info’ and added .m4r as a tag and it was recognised and imported by itunes 8.0.2 into ‘ringtones’ and went straight onto the phone
