Developers start to protest as Apple Inc. bans applications

Application banning by Apple Inc. is the latest rage these days. It was only last week when Apple refused to take in the application called the Podcaster. They said that it is an imitation of the Podcast section’s functionality that can be found on iTunes. Developers said that Apple Inc.’s reason is extremely ridiculous and the company just doesn’t know the difference between Podcaster and iTunes Podcast.

A few days later, Apple Inc. banned another application from App Store called Netshare created by Nullriver. Nullriver posted on their website that Apple Inc. has decided that the company would not allow tethering applications in their App Store. Because of this, NetShare will never be available in the App Store. They said that they are seeing so many similar reports from different developers who created applications that were abruptly banned and removed from the App Store even if they did not violate any of the terms of service.

Many developers have started voicing out their concern over the unwritten rules of Apple Inc. of what application can and can’t be sold in the App Store. As of today, the situation is getting worse because of the recent rejection rounds. Fraser Speirs, the developer of Exposure (the iPhone Flicker browse), said that they would cease developing for the iPhone until Apple Inc. clarifies its rules. Microsoft is really losing it in the evil stakes these days. They used to be really good at evil. Now Apple is kicking their backsides for evil. When Steve Jobs goes “MuWAAAhahahaha!”, the brainwashed minions listen. His henchmen are really loyal, not just getting paid to be. Poor Ballmer.
