Gene Munster, one of those most noted analysts, recently stated in a report that he believes that Apple Inc., the creator of second-generation iPhone, was not prepared for the huge demand for the company’s 3G iPhone, also known as iPhone 2.0.

As of the moment, the second-generation iPhone still has a shortage in numerous locations all over United States. There is also a shortage for the 3G iPhone in other countries where it was launched as well.

Gene Munster also mentioned that most of them (analysts) believe that the supply of the second-generation smartphone from Apple Inc. would still take a couple of

weeks before it goes back to normal.

In an interview, Gene Munster said that the shortage problem will still exist from two to four weeks. The early demand for the new released device was actually more than what they expected.

The second-generation from Apple Inc. supports both 3G as well as GPS. Moreover, the 3G iPhone also has an added functionality which allows the third-party applications to be installed in the device through the iTunes App Store.

The debut of the second-generation iPhone gave a massive success for Apple Inc. The device is also expected to boost the market share of its company.
