Don’t throw your iPhones just yet, fix is now on its way
Apple Inc. has just promised that they would fix the security bug in the iPhone which potentially allows other people to have access on your e-mails, messages, as well as contact list even if your device is password protected when locked.

Security experts said that the vulnerability of Apple’s iPhone requires the device owners and users to keep it very secure especially those who have placed sensitive information in their iPhone such as address, bank accounts, and more.
According to Paul Ferguson, an advanced threat researcher that works for Trend Micro, this threat basically underscores the call for hanging into your iPhone if in case you have included other information that is sensitive.
On the other hand, Trend Micro’s research manager, Jamz Yaneza, said that the flaw also underscores the disadvantages of putting all of your eggs in a single basket particularly in your iPhone or any device for that matter which you can easily lost while travelling.
Apple Inc.’s spokeswoman told the Reuters that the fix is on its way. They were planning to release the fix for this flaw on the next patch update. But for the meantime, they can use the workaround so that others would not be able to access their password-protected iPhone. It requires the users to set the Home button instead of the Favorites in the menu.

In the last sentence where it says, “requires the users to set the Home button instead of the Favorites in the menu”, is that saying that the double tap on the home button has to be set back to the default setting? That’s the impression I got from reading the sentence.
On the security note, I’m not too worried about that ‘security flaw’ because I always have my phone with me or on me lol
