According to the reports from Ars Technica, the CEO of Apple Inc, Steve Jobs, sent an e-mail to his employees. In the e-mail, it clearly states that Steve Jobs admitted that they have launched the MobileMe too soon.

Steve Jobs said that it was not a mistake making the MobileMe. However, it became a mistake when they launched it together with the second-generation iPhone, App Store, and their latest iPhone 2.0 software.

The article from Ars Technica said that Steve Jobs thought that there might be a different scenario if they have launched the MobileMe more slowly, something like “piece by piece.” They should have started releasing the

MobileMe that would only work with the calendar and contact where users can sync it to their iPod Touch or iPhone. It would have been great if they have given the software more features later on such as the online services.

This is a rare situation, seeing Apple Inc. admit its defeat. However, with all the glitches, issues, and rants that MobileMe is getting, it is nice to see that the company is admitting its fault and taking in some responsibility.

Moreover, Steve Jobs also said that the pre-mature launching of the MobileMe clearly demonstrates that their company has a lot more to learn when it comes to web services.
