FlyCast, the mobile broadcast network formerly known as FlyTunes, is now available on the iPhone as an iPhone native app, available from the App Store, and it’s free to download.

FlyCast lets you tune in to thousands of Shoutcast Internet radio stations, offering more than 1,000 digital channels for every genre of music, radio, weather, talk and traffic.
Features of the FlyCast Mobile app for the iPhone include the ability to pause live broadcast on all stations, song skipping on specific webcasts and “StreamAhead,” a feature that lets you continue to listen to a station even during extended periods without a connection.
FlyCast Mobile also includes a built-in Web browser, background play and modes to save battery life, an app to determine connection speed, radio station memoy pre-sets, full search capabilities, and an especially useful (and one that Apple gives its full thumbs up to) feature, a direct connection to the iTunes Store to purchase songs you’ve heard that you wish to have for your collection.
