Marware has announced plans to release the Game Grip case for the iPhone 3G and iPod touch.

Equipped with secure feeling silicone grips, the Game Grip provides you with a more handheld game console experience using your iPhone while playing games. It helps manage headphones and charging cables and also provides a spot for an optional, removable battery pack for longer playing sessions as well. Great accessory for the avid iPhone gamer.

The Game Grip comes with two silicone skins. It’s available only in black with blue handle grips for now. No word on a positive ship date for the case, but before the holidays is a safe bet.
