Gaming control pad coming the iPhone

A gamepad adapter for the iPhone is on it’s way, according to reports on several sites. The iControlPad team was kind enough to send a few sites a picture of their final prototype before mass production begins (rumors have production beginning in the next month or so).

The actual product will be black instead of white as shown; this is strictly a mock-up shown here. A gamepad is something many have been wanting for awhile now, and it’s surprising with the growing iPhone game market it hasn’t been done before.

But it’s official from iControlPad: It’s being designed and is on its way to mass production very soon. The company claims prototypes have been sent to several big iPhone game companies already, and support will be included in several upcoming games. This should serve to springboard the iPhone game market even further than it is already.
