Aspyr Media has plenty of game dev experience, since they’re the Mac game publisher behind titles like Call of Duty 4 and Guitar Hero Aerosmith. They’ve have stepped into the iPhone arena now with their first game called Buggled and it’s now available for immediate download and purchase from the App Store for $1.99.

In Buggled, ladybugs are attempting to escape your fingers, and you’ve got to keep them trapped. You have to keep your fingers on the ladybugs to keep them pinned under your hands. All the while the bugs are attempting to get beyond your grasp. Hope PETA isn’t looking too closely at this game.

Features include multi-touch support, challenge progression, support for two player play on the same screen (a unique feature; many iPhone games don’t allow this), and unique, sharp visuals and sound.

Buggled runs on an iPhone or iPod touch running iPhone 2.0 software and is available right now.
