Idle Hands is a free iPhone app that runs a global typing contest for all iPhone users, and also gives them plenty of opportunity and instruction to improve their typing.

You can practice as many times as you like, but in the end it all comes down to a single, global championship where you have to match your skill against iPhone users across the globe.
Developed by xCube Labs the idea for this game came out of their experience with the iPhone.
We figured that, QWERTY keyboard or not, typing on the iPhone’s virtual keyboard is a whole new skill altogether. And since the iPhone is used for blogging, emailing, and much more, the Idle Hands contest helps people practice their iPhone typing, and also have fun trying their luck in the world championship.
Idle Hands features include:
• Monthly world typing challenge
• Number of exercises
• Top 50 scores of the month
• Typing tips provided by users
• Ability to rate the tips available
You can find Idle Hands in the App Store
Do try it out: it’s free, and you might just become the world champion!
