Go fishing and record your catches on your iPhone with Gone Fishing
Finally the fishing application for real, hardened fisherman.

Whether you are a Coarse, Game or Sea angler, record your favorite catches with Gone Fishing. Attach new or existing pictures and catch details to the Fish Log Database on your device. Its easy to add and edit further details such as species, weight, bait, time, date, girth, length, depth, rod, reel, line, hook and range. Add extra notes such as temperature and wind direction and attach them to your catch.
Return to your favorite hotspot by adding Gone Fishing’s built in drag and drop adjustable GPS location pin to your catch and leverage your database knowledge to load up your bag with freshly caught fish.
Quickly scroll through your Fish Log Database that uniquely sorts fish by species and then by weight to give a ‘best of’ list of you or your friends personal bests and view pictures using the built in slider. We look forward to your feature requests and adding these in future updates. Gone Fishing works best on iPhone 3G. It will run on the iPod touch but existing iPod models have no GPS or picture taking features.
It’s available for $9.99 from the App Store.

Fishbook is another app that may be of interest. Check it out in the app store, or find info here: http://www.headhippo.com/
In the interest of full disclosure, I would like to point out that I am the developer of Fishbook, so I admittedly have a personal interest in promoting it. Nonetheless, I do think its a great app and believe its worth checking out.
