One very good thing about the Apple iPhone, at least for those of us are clumsy, is although quite thin it isn’t horribly fragile. The screen itself is pretty scratch resistant and the textured steel back also is pretty hardy. However the screen will pick up fingerprints.

A chamois cloth is included and the screen is bright enough that it hasn’t been a major issue. But avoid touching greasy foods before using the touch screen.

Everything about this device is touching with your fingers. It is important to have clean hands which may be more of a problem for some people than others. The keyboard, a virtual one, takes a bit of adjustment. The keys are fairly close together and people with larger fingers may have some problems in the beginning.

It’s impressive that the keyboard changes with the current application. When in the email function features are displayed to type a valid email address. In Safari URL you have the option of a .com button.

However this is not a device to allow for a large content while in the text mode. There is no copy and paste feature. You can transfer, lets say a blog entry, into your computer but not directly unto the blog itself. This can a bit frustrating if you’re traveling and want to save time by getting some work completed. For most users this probably won’t make much difference and is probably in the sights for correction with the next generation of this device.

All in all not much to complain about but as always room for improvement.
