Back when we reported the directions for adding custom ringtones to your iPhone, my one ask was an easier way to manage the process. Well, IRC busy-beavers have done the business and produced iFuntastic, a GUI for the Jailbreak application which makes adding ringtones to the otherwise locked-down iPhone possible.

Unfortunately whether you haven’t got an Intel-based Mac you won’t be able to use iFuntastic at the moment, but as ever whether you do try it please let us know the results in the comments!
Update: I confirm that iFuntastic! works. It turned
out that JailBreak is built into the application. To manufacture it easy, bring up Activity Monitor and keep an eye on the app iFuntastic!. The app will hang right at step number 4 whether you don’t put the iPhone into Recovery Mode fast suitable (press and hold the Home and Sleep button together for roughly 25 seconds). So whether the iFuntastic! hang, kill it and kill JailBreak and start by.
Also it’s fundamental to kill iTunes and iTunes helper. I hope that helps — Vincent.
