Now that a complete software unlock and jailbreak has been announced that will work with 1.1.1 have Apple taken the update down from their servers?

This was sent in by a reader earlier today.

Having seen the news about jailbreaking 1.1.1 and being able to use 3rd

party apps with it I thought I would give it a go. Only trouble is iTunes keeps telling me my iPhone is up to date. Clicking on the check for update button returns “This version of the iPhone software (1.0.2) is the current version”.

Anyone else seeing this?

They have taken it down. iTunes says that my version 1.0.2 is the latest one.

You have to make sure you are using the newest version of itunes to get the new iPhone update. If you still have iTunes 7.3 then it wont be able to download the new firmware.

    What's your opinion?
