Have fun with MadLibs for the iPhone on Cydia

MadLibs have been around forever, and have been a party staple for young and old for a number of years. Nothing beats the joy of plugging silly random words into a straight-up story.

MadLibs

MadLibs is an application that is exactly that: Mad Libs on your iPhone and/or iPod Touch. The object of the application is to fill out a “list of words to substitute for blanks in a story; these word substitutions have a humorous effect when the resulting story is then read aloud.”

The first release had a poor interface and was buggy so many passed on it. Well, the app was recently updated and is working much better now, if reports are to be believed.

It’s available on Cydia for free download for those of you that have jailbroken your iPhone.

I just bought an iPhone last week after having a Blackberry for 6 years. The iPhone is so much better! Yesterday I downloaded my first few games, and the kids loved JigSee, which lets you take a picture from the iPhone camera and turn it into a jigsaw puzzle game. But I’ll try this Mad Libs thing as well….
