iPhone App Sale: Navigon AG is $20 Off Through November 30th

If you have been struggling with which GPS app to buy for your iPhone, assuming you don’t already have one of course, Navigon has just sweetened the pot by putting their application on sale for only $69.99. This is $20 off the regular price and is now $30 cheaper than the TomTom app that is also available on the iPhone.

Navigon Mobile Navigator

In addition to the regular mobile navigator being on sale, they have also discounted the Traffic Live feature which is normally $24.99 down to $14.99. This really makes it attractive as you can have everything that they offer and still pay less than the TomTom all by itself. To make things clear, I am not comparing this to the TomTom because overall, that is the better device, at least in my opinion. However, this is now a pretty nice alternative for the money.

If you are going to take advantage of it, you should probably spring for the whole package. The Traffic Plus feature is a great app to have and gives key information on traffic as it is happening. This time of year presents some pretty incredible challenges on the road ways and every little bit of information that can be had is appreciated. To know that you have viable options before you get there may just save a few strands of hair from being pulled out of your head over the next few weeks.

The sale from Navigon is both smart and aggressive. The new TomTom update has been getting a lot of press and while the new features of the upgrade were enough to get people curious, the price tag of $99 may have kept a few people in the lurches looking for something better. The $69.99 price tag is probably low enough to convert curiosity into a sale and added the discounted Traffic Live feature may what it takes to seal the deal.

Wow, that’s a nice sale. If it wasn’t for having the KITT GPS for my car (unrelated to the iPhone) I’d probably grab it.

What's your opinion?
