Application launchers are always doing a very good business on smart phone and mobile devices. Perhaps they tap both into user’s innate desire to customize and also because device makers themselves don’t do a good job of organizing programmes. So it’s not a big surprise to see a couple for the iPhones emerge, but which one will be a better choice?

Mock Dock Programmer

When viewed Mock Dock on a normal computer it looks faintly ridiculous, but it should be proportioned for the iPhone Safari users. One can use the iPhone on a desktop browser; it’s basically a page of bookmark with a gallery of finger-friendly icons to build a customized launch page. Already, there are quite few programs and shortcuts are available but probably

no way can be used to add unless one has emailed them and asked for inclusion.

Mojit Programmer

Mojit’s is also alternatively described as mobile widgets; it follows the same idea as Mock Dock by building a customized palette of shortcuts. The difference between Mock Dock and Mojit is that with Mojit one can create his own Mojit rather than rely on the programmers for doing it. Also, there is a great growing gallery of user generated widgets to choose from. Both Mock dock and Mojit are free to register and free to use. The easy customization of Mojit seems to make it stand out. In the early days for any iPhone application, no one knows what’s planned for the platform over the coming months.
