Just a few days ago, a Chinese girl who works at the iPhone factory became one of the internet sensations when her photos were posted at MaRumors.com. The female worker flashed a peace sign and her pictures were left on the iPhone. Now the mysterious iPhone Girl has already been identified.

Foxconn, the company manufacturing the iPhone for Apple Inc. has already confirmed that they have identified who the girl is. However, they decline to release her name. But Foxconn said that the girl’s job is not actually at risk. They even called the said incident as the “beautiful mistake.”

On the other hand, the girl in the picture is a little more troubled with all the attention and the reaction of the people regarding the picture.

A representative from Foxconn said to South China Morning Post that the factory worker is just a young girl who came to the city coming from a very remote town. iPhone Girl, as others call her, has never been in a situation like this before.

Foxconn also said that the iPhone Girl is really scared with the media. When she knew about the photos she even told Foxconn that she wanted to quit the job. She wants to go home and get away from all the media instead. The company just told iPhone Girl to have a day off and spend the rest of the day in a place where she could rest.
