If the excitement of finding out the key sequence for the iPhone’s Field pop quiz mode gave you an appetite for more codes, soon after you’ll be wanting to send a thank-you card to Erica Sadun for her hard work examining out a faraway list of GSM codes after discovering that many of those standard on Nokia phones seem to have similar effects on Apple’s handset.  For instance, prepaid iPhone customers might find it useful to dial *777# and press shout, as that gives them an instant detail balance.
