It’s been more than a year since the first iPhones were launched but until now it is still considered as the “it” phone. Apple Inc.’s iPhone seems to be the phone to beat. Even its rivals see this device as the phone that they should look up to and compare their new products with.

During the CTIA show, rival companies of Apple Inc. (and even AT&T) have talked about the “envy of all phones.” Most of them pointed the weaknesses of the iPhone such as the video capabilities and network issues. However, they were pushed to answer why their mobile phones cannot be




as special as Apple Inc.’s iPhone, why they can’t integrate the touch-screen interface, can’t have thousands of available applications, and other functions that their phones can’t do but present in the iPhone.

From the answers that were given by the rivals, it is obvious that they are even envious of how the iPhone being successfully marketed.

Bill Plummer from Nokia answered questions from the reporters regarding the latest Nokia Ovi wirelss services. He even stretched how their Nokia devices have these video-sharing capabilities, something that iPhone does not have. Even for them, the iPhone from Apple Inc. is currently the basis for the comparison.
