iPhone Outbreak hits other parts of the world
Since the release of Iphone in the market, Orange, a leading mobile operator in United Kingdom, has been very supportive in distributing the iPhone all over France. Now there’s more exciting news aside from the huge sales that Orange get from iPhones. Orange would no longer carry Iphones in France alone. The company recently signed up another contract with Apple. They would now carry iPhones in other parts of the world as well where they render their services. It is expected that Orange will be distributing the iPhones during the latter months of 2008.

How fortunate the locals of Europe, Africa, and Middle East will be as they now have this chance of getting their hands on Apple’s iPhones. The same goes for all those who are living in Belgium, Austria, Egypt, Romania, Portugal, Jordan, Dominican Republic, and Switzerland. Orange did not specify which area in Africa would they be distributing the Iphones. As of today, Orange is operating in Central African Republic, Niger, Senegal, Cameroon, Guinea Konakri, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Ivory Coast, Botswana, Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion, and at the Equatorial Guinea.
However, the contract between Apple and Orange is not actually exclusive. In Portugal and in Egypt, aside from Orange, Vodafone is also carrying iPhones. On the other hand, Swisscom is also carrying iPhones for Switzerland. Another mobile operator is also carrying iPhones in Dominican Republic which is America Movil. Since February, T-mobile has already been offering the said gadget in Austria. And of course, in Italy, the Italia SpA is providing iPhones for them.
