One by one, the carriers of the 3G iPhone all over the world are revealing their service plans before we hit July 11. And this time, it is Optus’ turn to announce its plan.

Recently, Optus has already announced their 3G iPhone comprehensive plans. Potential customers also have the option to buy the 3G iPhone on a pre-paid basis.

If you want to purchase the pre-paid plan the 8 GB model of the 3G iPhone will cost as much as $729. The 16 GB model on the other hand is about $849. The cap plans offered by Optus starts at $30 and as high as $100. In




case the user wants to unlock their 3G iPhone and use the device on other mobile network, they can pay Optus for $80 unlocking fee.

But for those who are loyal to the said mobile network, they can choose from the post-paid plans offered by Optus. The cheapest plan for the iPhone is only $19/month. This includes 100 MB of data and $50 worth of texts and calls. Aside from that, if you opt to sign up for a 1-year contract with Optus, the 8 GB model will only cost $51/month. And if you want to sign up for a 2-year contract, the 8 GB model will only cost $21/month.
