The craze of installing 3rd party Apps can sometimes leave a mess on our homescreen. Apps can be strewn around and no organization is maintained. But all of that can be fixed in a few simple steps.
It doesn’t matter how many Apps you decided to splurge on in showing off your amazing hacking skills (just don’t let that GUI installer reside on your desktop when friends come over)!
First you’ll need to download my personal favorite, Launcher (can be grabbed from multiple sources, I used Nullriver’s Installer.app). Launcher acts as a second menu to access all of your Apps. that might seem redundant for some folks but it’ll get better. Once you have Launcher installed download rSBT.
With rSBT (not it is not a hormone or any weird scientific experiment) you can rearrange all Applications on the springboard or more commonly known as the home screen. What you will want to do is move all 3rd party Apps or even any App to the hidden section in rSBT. However Installer.app will move but another App will take its place so regardless of any movement two slots will be filled (sRBT and Installer.app).
This can be done as many times as you want but keep in mind that whether you uninstall or update an App that is only visible in Launcher, spring board will still need to refresh.
