Those happy hackers at the iPhone Dev Team are one step closer to unlocking Apple’s cellphone - and seemingly two steps back with what they’ve discovered. Turns out, not only will they have to unlock the version of OS X that the iPhone flaunts, by
gaining access to the handset’s primary CPU, but there’s additionally a secondary chip that controls baseband memory (which is in charge of things like communication parameters).
