iPhone Video Recording – for all your video-recording needs!

One of the flaws of the current iPhone is the lack of video recording. However, this doesn’t mean iPhone users would be neglected with video recording capabilities forever.

Video Recorder

The iPhone developer community, which offers various applications specifically designed for the iPhone, releases its newest application called “iPhone Video Recorder”. This application enables iPhone users to record videos compressed in mp4 format at 15 fps video capture rates. The iPhone Video Recorder works with both audio and video at up to 320×412 resolution.

To have your own video recorder, a jailbroken iPhone is needed. You need to add http://www.iphone-recorder.com/install2 repository into the “Sources List” and find the application under your iPhone’s “Multimedia Category”. After installing the application, you can easily record videos all you like. However, free use of the application only allows 30 seconds of recorded video. If you want to record videos longer than 30 seconds, you need to give a $19.95 donation to receive full functionality.

I downloaded and installed iPhone Video Recorder. It works great and has great quality. I was so impressed and I quickly wanted more than 30 second clips so I bought it. It is completely worth it! The ppl at iPhone Video Recorder have published 2 updates (free) to the software since I bought it. I took my iPhone to SeaWorld last weekend and took video of the dolphins and my 2 yr old daughter. It was so cool to be recording video with the iPhone. Now my daughter wants to watch it all the time. The software is so cool it lets you playback, email or upload videos directly to YouTube. The videos are good quality and small in size. It’s awesome!
