iPhones will be available at Best Buy soon

According to the recent reports from USA Today, the iPhone from Apple Inc. will be no longer limited to the Apple Stores as well as AT&T stores only. For those who haven’t got their hands on the hottest smartphone today, you may now purchase it at the retail stores of Best Buy – the biggest electronics retailer in United States.

Best Buy

As of the moment, the Best Buy or BBY is the only outsider retailer in United States that may distribute the iPhone from Apple Inc. Starting on September 7, 2008 you may now purchase the iPhone and other Apple Inc. devices on any of the 970 stores of Best Buy located nationwide.

Apple Inc. ntroduced the 3G iPhone last July. The company already claimed that have sold as much as one million units of the second-generation iPhone during its first week in the market. However, Charles Wolf, an analyst from Needham & Co. said that number of units that has already been sold all over the world has already reached three million.

Apple was not able to meet the high demand of the 3G iPhone for the past few weeks. Now that the Best Buy will also offer the iPhone, people are hoping that they would not drive all the way to the store just to see empty shelves.
