A recent report from AppleInsider stated that recently, Apple Inc. and Telefonica Movistar signed an agreement. They both agreed that the world’s most popular smart phone called iPhone must be brought to Spain.

The potential consumers of iPhone in Spain do not have to wait longer. It was said that iPhone will be available to Spain-based iPhone fanatics later this 2008. However, both Telefonica Movistar and Apple Inc. did not mention any specific dates as to when they would really release the iPhone in Spain.

According to Jose Santos Esteras of the AppleInsider, the spokesperson of Telefonica Movistar mentioned that their company is

already serving at least 23 million consumers in Spain as well as other areas in Latin America. And by the time that the iPhone is released in Spain, Telefonic Movistar will conduct a temporary exclusive on the sales of Apple handsets which would last for either three months or six months.

The iPhone, and the Apple Inc. in general, have eminently expanded its services all over the world. This just happened in the past couple of months. As of now, it is very obvious that Apple Inc. is making so much effort to ensure that people all over the world can access their stylish handset.
