Is The New iPhone Already Being Tested

As has been said here and many other places, one can only imagine that Apple was ready to do battle with the Droid and that they were merely waiting for the release of their competitions top product before finalizing their latest version. It would be a good move as they would know what they were up against and could make whatever changes to the latest version to stand up against whatever Motorola was throwing out there.

iPhone

Apparently, the new version of the phone is already out on the test market as an app developer noticed that a new version of the iPhone has showing up in their data. This is pretty interesting in that loyal iPhone users are tired of seeing their phone get bashed in the media and are hoping that the new version will put some of this to rest.

The rumors are running rampant (and at this point, that is all they are) all over the web as this story continues to get its legs. Estimates have the phone hitting the open market sometime in the summer of 2010. While it is unlikely that the phone is 100% of what will be seen on the market before it gets released, Apple iPhone users are getting excited at the mere thought of a “better than ever” iPhone release being so close.

This may be just the information that AT&T and the iPhone need to keep their bubble customers at bay. For anyone who has a contract that is just expiring or will expire over the next few months, this gives them something to look forward to just in case they are getting a little antsy and want to try the new Droid. You know the Internet will be loaded with reviews the moment the latest phone is released or that testing details are made public. That being the case, iPhone users that were considering moving over may just stay put and give the iPhone a chance to address the areas where the Droid is attacking them.

Cell phones change faster than computers… and I’m trying to figure out what to do with the 24″ iMac I bought last June. Got to have the new 27″ iCore7!

I know right? So many lovely gadgets, so little money… Ive bought 4 iphones in 2 years. The only reason i dont have 3gs is because Im where ANY cell phone plan would cost a buttload.

Sell your iPhones on eBay. That’s what I’ve done with all my old ones. As a matter of fact, I paid for the 3gs’s by selling the old 3g’s, same thing for the original iPhone. As for a new iPhone, I’m ready. Just imagine the similar specs and features of the Nexus One but on an iPhone. Personally if I spend over 500 a year on music and apps, I want to be able to keep them with me forever and with Apple you can do that. Because if you get tired of the iPhone or At&t, you’ll probably always have an iPod and thus you’ll always have your paid apps. I wouldn’t want the apps or my money become obsolete because I changed my phone or carrier. Only makes sense. I think Apple knows what they’re doing. What do you do if you ever buy an Andriod and then a few years later you fugure you want to tone down to a regular phone? Your money and apps are gone forever, but not with iPhone at least.
