Isaac Newton on Google logo with dropping Apple

As I was browsing Google today I noticed a new logo which Google created to honor Sir Isaac Newton. The logo has an animated falling Apple and it’s missing an “o” from it. Google usually decorates their logo whenever they want to celebrate a special day, and today happens to be one of them. Isaac Newton was born on January 4.
Isaac Newton is well known for his three laws of motion. Google created an animation of the falling Apple because that is what inspired him to come up with the gravitational formula. I’m posting it here because I know many of you here use Google to find our website, and you will definitely wonder why the logo is on Google. I’m also a big fan of Isaac Newton!

Details of the new iPhone 4.
First iPad jailbreak has officially been released.
Could we see a Verizon iPhone 4G this summer?
The latest iPhone 4.0 beta 2 firmware is available for developers to download.
iPhone 4.0 release date is in June 2010.
The iPhone 4.0 beta 1 firmware can be "jailbroken".
Could this be the Verizon iPhone 4G?

[...] hompage doesn’t have anything to do with Apple Inc. It is there to celebrate the birthday of Sir Isaac Newton. I believe this is the first time I’ve ever seen Google use an animated logo on their front [...]
Isaac Newton was born on 4 January 1643 at Woolsthorpe Manor in Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterworth, a hamlet in the county of Lincolnshire. At the time of Newton’s birth, England had not adopted the Gregorian calendar and therefore his date of birth was recorded as Christmas Day, 25 December 1642

How do I keep the Isaac Newton logo on my home page as I like it so much
happy birthday sir
I liked it very much
cute ….
thanks Newton …. thanks G ogle
This logo is bs! The falling apple is completely unnecessary and only annoys me when using google. (Especially because the apple will fall again each time you load the site -.-)
What’s with the capital A – it’s just an apple! Perhaps you are sponsored by Apple, or perhaps it’s just muscle memory. Either way, I suspect it’s apple!
Don’t forget to press the I’m feeling lucky button. Something special happens when you do that.
Thanks to Google….&
Happy bday to the great man of Science, Sir Isaac Newton…
I must have missed this one, Pretty clever though.
THe apple annoys me big time!
how did google make the apple animated?
I have printed and collected all the google logos for five years! they are fantastic, and this is surely one of the best with the animated falling apple. Keep it up. I will carry on collecting! How sad is that?
