Most people already knew the Dev Team would come up with a new jailbreak method for firmware 2.2 fairly quickly. They just released complete directions on their blog that every user should read before attempting to jailbreak their iPhone. You could do temporary damage to your ability to use your iPhone if these directions are not followed.

We don’t normally link directly to people’s blogs but the instructions are long
and detailed and we feel like it’s necessary in this case as we need to make sure you fully understand the methods and the risks you’re taking if you decide to go ahead and jailbreak your iPhone. It can be slightly risky in some cases, especially with the 2.2 firmware update.
