Less than a week after its debut, 3G iPhone has been unlocked
A certain group coming from the country of Brazil has managed to jailbreak or unlock the 3G iPhone from Apple Inc. Impossible?

The unlocked 3G iPhone was demonstrated and displayed in an online video which can be seen in a news blog that can be read by the Portugese.
And now that the particular second-generation iPhone has already been unlocked, any type of Sim card can be inserted and it will also work with all kinds of service providers.
In a recent interview with the Gizmodo, one iPhone user named Bruno MacMasi said that the unlocking or jailbreaking process of the 3G iPhone includes modifying the device’s Sim hardware. This must be done in order to overwrite the International Mobile Subscriber Identity which would remove the 3G iPhone from its original network.
When the first-generation iPhone was released last year, the same process was also used so that the classic iPhone may be unlocked.
Meanwhile, a group of researchers popularly known as the iPhone Devteam already released the first unlocking software that can be used with the 3G iPhone as well as the iPhone 2.0 software update.
