I was fooled by that story until it was pointed out that that story, indeed, is a fake. whether you have not heard that story yet, I am certain you probably will.
Supposedly, 28 year old Thomas Martel, found himself manipulating his cell phone to be a rather difficult chore. His options were to go with a different cell phone or undergo surgery so he can own an iPhone. The choice he made was pretty clear–undergo surgery!
A new procedure called “Whittling”
was said to involve filling down the bone, and reconstructing muscles and fingernails, creating a nicer constructed thumb. I found that really crazy and was a little skeptical as I have never heard of the procedure, but had hope that someone had gone through a surgical procedure to actually own an iPhone. That would be true dedication, however, a little strange.
I am somewhat curious though–would anyone undergo surgery to use his/her iPhone??
